Diff btwn 7z, Zip and Bzip

Zip format is a compression and archive format that compresses every file seperatley.    This may be a good format if you need to retrieve individual parts of the compressed files.  Bzip compresses more effectively than zip but is slower.  It will only compress data and can not do multiple file without using other utilities.  This file format would be most useful when compression is important but speed is not.

7z format works along with other methods and can have a high compression ration.  It can be used for multiple and large files.  However it is a good format for backup purposes.  It can not extract broken files.  This format would be good for a very large file that you needed to compress into another single file.
